We are looking for a self-directing Superintendent who loves building to manage our high-end residential construction projects. Our Superintendents are masters of communication, planning, and finding solutions to problems before they arise. They ensure that projects with their name on them exceed quality expectations, and motivate their teams with respect and support. This full-time salaried position works from a designated job site to monitor staff and subcontractor performance and works closely with the Project Manager to assure that quality, finance, and scheduling goals are met.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Project Finances: purchase orders, invoices, change orders, allowances, selections
  • Subcontractor Administration: maintain Subcontractor pool, administer contract packages
  • Bid Packages: Open and close bid packages, manage bid email
  • Project Administration: Project file setup (digital and hard copy)
  • General Administration

Qualifications:


  • 10 years of progressive experience (3-5 in a supervisory role) in residential construction
  • Excellent and demonstrable communication skills (verbal and written); Spanish a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills (tactful, able to use discretion and maintain confidentiality)
  • Able to build and maintain a positive team attitude
  • Knowledge of relevant building trades and current building codes and permit requirements
  • Proficiency in (or able to quickly become proficient in) Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, Google suites, more
  • Able to manage high-pressure situations, prioritize competing issues and concurrent deadlines
  • Professionalism in manner and attire
  • High School diploma or GED required (Bachelor's degree a plus)
  • Willingness to work weekends and extended hours as necessary to meet production milestones
